ESOF 2018 Toulouse

ESOF is the largest interdisciplinary science meeting in Europe. The 8th edition of ESOF will take place in Toulouse, France, from 9 till 14 July 2018. The call for proposal of sessions for ESOF 2018 will be open from January to June 2017 and will be available at www.esof.eu. ESOF is largely open to international participation.


The second Science Forum South Africa will be held on 8-9 December 2016, at the CSIR International Convention Centre in Pretoria. It will again serve as a large, open, public platform for debating the science and society interface. This forum is inspired from ESOF, as well as the AAAS and Science Agora events.


The organizers of the Festival are pleased to announce the dates of the upcoming European Science TV & New Media festival and awards evening to be hosted again by Lisbon, Portugal.

As part of dissemination, some of the winning audio-visual productions of the European Science TV & New Media Festival in 2015 were presented at the European Researchers’ Night on 30 September 2016 at CERN (the European Organization for Nuclear Research).

Manchester, the host city for the EuroScience Open Forum (ESOF) 2016, is delighted to announce that it is offering a travel grant scheme for journalists wishing to attend and report on the conference this summer.


The organizers of the Festival are pleased to announce the Call for TV programmes or New Media productions for the 2016 European Science TV and New Media Festival and Awards. Deadline 3 June 2016!

EuroScience has been given the opportunity by the Robert Bosch Stiftung to open a Call for Travel Grants to support African researchers (or exceptionally research administrators) with their travel, registration and accommodation costs to attend ESOF 2016 in Manchester.
